I am looking for a breeder who has pet-level bulldogs for sale, I really don't want to pay champion pedigree prices, but I want a bulldog...or two to breed myself.

I live in Cambodia so I need the paperwork to export from Thailand also.

Any suggestions anyone?

Be very careful when buying 'cheap' Bulldogs.The price of Bulldogs tends to reflect the health of the dogs.

Read as much as you can on the breed and be prepared to take alot of time caring and cleaning Bulldogs.

I hope you have a very good vet in Cambodia that is experienced with Bulldogs,otherwise I think you will be making a few trips to BKK!

I am posting this for a friend that is also looking for a Bulldog, understanding that a Genuine Pedigree is the only option. He has tried various international breeders claiming to offer Genuine Pedigree Bulldog's but has found this to be a minefield with the vast majority of the people claiming to offer the dogs being timewasters or scams interested only in extracting funds.

If anybody knows of any GENUINE REGISTERED BREEDERS in Thailand or South East Asia that can be verified and visited I would appreciate any details that you can provide

Be really careful. We have a friend with two (male and female) that he purchased in BKK. Both have huge health problems - one has virtually constant epileptic fits that require hugely expensive medication. I think from what he has told us, they are swimming in such a small gene pool in Thailand that problems like these are inevitable. Also bear in mind, because the bulldogs head is so large the majority of pups are delivered by casarian section. Expensive and dangerous to the health of the dam and it must restrict the number of times she can breed?

There are around 15-20 Bulldog breeders now in Thailand,so shop around and check all the pedigree certs.

With Bulldogs expensive doesnt necesarily mean best.Health is paramount with Bulldogs,so check both parents.

Just go to a reputable pet shop and pick up a copy of Lokesatleang magazine,all the breeders are listed in there.

KNow its very outdated but I'd like to mention a very good bulldog breeder in Chiangrai. They are near the White Temple..have been around for around 7 years and I have never heard a bad story about them. I know they have bulldog pups now for sale now as I have been down there recently to check myself. As far as I know, all pups are Pedigree and are in great health. The number I have is 0816366541. Her name is Fai, speaks perfect English and is always very very helpful. Fairytale Dogs Home is the name of their kennel. Again..sorry for the late post! All the best.
