tomazbodner
From videos, this should be junction at Din Daeng, the end of it, where Vibhavadi Rangsit ends and you can turn either left to Din Daeng on Rama 9 or towards Victory Monument and Ratchaprarop road to the right, with expressway overhead. RafPinto
Be safe everyone. The media won't publish too much. I guess TAT is already panicking. Last thing they need now to attract tourists.

ikke1959
Nothing showed on TV...probably forbidden and even more I hope they keep their heads cool. I am afraid that the Government is trying to slam down these protest with unneccessary use of watercanons and teargaz, just maybe to get clashes which would give the military a reason for another coup, as Prayuth is not wanted anymore and with new electionsthere could be a thread for the military to loose power. and by challeging the protesters they will find a reason if they fight/ruin/burn things. They did before...
grain
Be interesting to see if anything about this is on Australia ABC New this evening. Certainly not the sort of thing potential tourists want to see.
steven100
Bring out the water cannons and helicopters ..... that'll soon disperse them.

You still can if you wish, just go to Youtube and type in Voice TV By Thai standards just a minor melee or here is the link; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2X7hiQL-OU
Popular Post proton
Silent protests in the cinema's these days. Went to see top gun on Wednesday, just 3 people stood up and a few had waited to come in after it had finished, which what was I used to do. Even the Mrs for the first time ever did not stand up.

spidermike007
The extent to which the vast majority here are dissatisfied, frustrated, angry and ready to show their disapproval of the goons is huge. It is just a matter of time. Bye bye covid. Bye bye masking. Hello protests and unrest. It is inevitable when you have a nation run by thoroughly useless man for 8 years. internationalism
mainstream media were warned many times, the last time some 6 months ago, that broadcasting protests is inciting to crime, with possible sedition charges and such laws against editors and journalists. "Thailand takes action against media groups for protest reports" https://www.ft.com/content/92374696-d1de-49a0-b545-7861c98727be "Thailand aims to further censor media reporting of protests" https://ipi.media/thailand-aims-to-further-censor-media-reporting-of-protests/ Do follow in english credible fb thai media and human rights/citizens channels https://www.facebook.com/KhaosodEnglish https://www.facebook.com/PrachataiEnglish the last weekend protests were covered by them, including short video. Both those pages have a long history and high level journalism Edited June 13, 2022 by internationalism
ikke1959
But there is no censorship in Thailand and there is freedom of speech according to the Government. Human Right Watchers must get out and tourist must come in...... But that are things that go together.... Tourists don't like to be silenced or not or wrong informed about their destination....
