Not sure what forum to use. TRAT is also "southern Thailand" but on the Cambodian Side, therefore not really covered here. Some pictures from this area is what I am looking for. Anyone ?

I think maybe you confuse between Trang and Trat

Trang is a past of southen Thailand

Trat is a past of east Thailand near Combodian far from BKK 315 km.

I agree, not appropriate for the Southern forum. Moved to the Pattaya forum since there doesn't seem to be an Eastern forum.

Well, my maps spell it "TRAT" and it is located in the south-east corner of Th'land.

Trat is considered Eastern Thailand, nowhere near the South, which starts south of Bangkok.

As it is closer to Pattaya than to Bangkok, the Pattaya forum is more appropriate.

Trat is on the Cambodian side , its the gateway to the Islands , Koh Chang , Koh Kood as well as a lot of smaller islands in the group , nice little town , cheap living , some great little guest houses and a night market selling great food .

Travellers going to the Islands get off the bus here and Songtaew down to the wharf about 20 k,s away .

Down the coast towards Cambodia are some great resorts , right on the beach and nearly deserted most of the time except when there is a Thai holiday .

The best place for pics is the google home page , click on images and type in Trat .
