Hello

I have a British degree with an Irish passport. Going though the process that I have seen mentioned on this forum to notarise\apostilise the degree. I am currently waiting on this to come back from FCDO before I send my visa application to the Thai embassy in london.

It has taken much longer than expected to come back and my flight to Thailand is in a week. Can I enter Thailand with tourist exemption ( with possible tourist extension) while I get someone to post my application to the Royal Thai embassy in London when my degree has returned from FCDO and post this to me in Bangkok? Once I receive this in Bangkok do I do a border run to change from a tourist visa to a non Immigrant B visa?

You can apply for a non-b visa based upon teaching at immigration with a visa exempt entry or the 30 day extension. See: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/2.FOR-WORKING-AS-TEACHER-NON-B.pdf

You could also apply for a non-b for teaching at a nearby embassy or consulate.
