Popular Post snoop1130
About 60 parliament police officers submitted a petition to House Speaker Chuan Leekpai today (Wednesday), to protest against the change of their uniform, claiming that it is a waste of taxpayers’ money because they received their previous newly-tailored uniforms only six months ago. The same petition was also submitted to the opposition chief whip Sutin Klungsang and a few Pheu Thai MPs, including Khachit Chainikhom, an MP for Udon Thani province. Khachit told the media that the people who have to wear the new kit don’t want it, while those who ordered the change do not have to wear it. jcmj
As long as they have the old uniforms sized to fit the ever growing force they’ll be fine. Otherwise we’ll be see a lot more trying to squeeze into their tighty brownies.
jacko45k
They look sorely in need of new uniforms these days.... if they move the buttons any more, they will be on the same side as the holes. 1

MRToMRT
I would have a guess the real issue here is not mentioned in the article. Its probably about "status" and looking like a police officer rather than an unknown guard.
mancub
Perhaps they would like it better if it had more "medals " ?

Popular Post tomacht8
I guess that 1. The trouser pockets are too small and not much can "go in". 2. The trouser pockets are sewn up and nothing can "go in". Or 3. Pants no longer have pockets at all. Totally impractical when traffic checks have to be carried out.

There very conservative here though. Shorts and polo shirts might be easier to pass. Uncomfortable and hot clothes definitely doesn't help the police work ethic.
