Foreigners not able to use Thai personal PayPal accounts after October 2022

Just received an email from PayPal saying that Thai personal PayPal accounts will be transferred to PayPal Thailand in October 2022. But in order to do so, you must be enrolled in the National Digital ID (NDID) platform for which you need a Thai ID card. So it looks like foreigners will have to give up their Thailand-registered PayPal accounts.  

Already a topic on this since mid June.
