Daily News Thai Caption: How lovely!

A Facebook post by Daoluck Somrit alerted Daily News to an extraordinary event in the north of Thailand.

The post praised "Nong Fluke" - a rescue foundation worker with Siam Ruamchai in Wiang Pa Pao district of Chiang Rai, who carried a corpse wrapped in white cloth out of the woods.

The dead body was strapped to his back as he rode a motorcycle.

It was explained that someone had died in the woods and a four wheel drive was needed but the foundation vehicle couldn't gain access.

So Fluke improvised and borrowed a local's motorcycle so that the body could be delivered to relatives.

Netizens commented in large numbers impressed by the foundation worker's actions.

So, technically he was transporting the body on a Hearse.

I love the Thais, always thinking outside the box.

I'll make mention to the Mrs, that's my choice of transport to the temple cremetorium.

There's gotta be some lottery numbers in that story somewhere.

Glad somebody was able to catch it on video for all of us.

Could be a good plot line for a new WAB thai movie !

who carried a corpse

A tribal man in Odisha walked nearly 10 kilometres with his daughter, carrying his wife's body on his shoulder, after he was denied a mortuary van from a government hospital.

 Not only Thailand!

Nothing like a last ride to look around the estate before reaching the pearly gates.

Now if I was an enterprising young Thai entrepreneur there could be something in this mode of transport.

So did RTP forensics check the scene and check it out before he removed the body ?

"If you're riding pillion. Don't fidget." Well done, Sir.????

Two up in every sense of the word.
