Popular Post webfact
by Tanakorn Sangiam BANGKOK (NNT) - The Prime Minister has ordered a crackdown on illegal drug operations, hoping to safeguard young people from illicit substances. Speaking at an awarding ceremony for people and organizations with excellent contributions to anti-drug efforts, Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha elaborated on the country’s anti-narcotics operations that aim to find a balance between suppression, prevention, and rehabilitation. He said awareness-raising campaigns are needed to tell young people about the consequences of drugs, along with campaigns to promote drug-free schools and communities. He stressed the need for occupational training for addicts in rehabilitation, which will enable them to have a new life. The number of arrests in Thailand related to drug cases between 2018 and 2022 saw a decline, thanks to stringent measures and cooperation with neighboring countries, especially Laos and Myanmar. The Prime Minister also urged local officials to continue cracking down on those involved in drug rings, including their financial supporters. From 1 October 2021 to 29 June 2022, Thai authorities seized a total of 9.21 billion baht in assets from drug dealers. -- © Copyright NNT 2022-07-01 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Popular Post 300sd
So he's just noticing now that illegal drug operations are everywhere in this country! Or is it that he is noticing that so many people are mostly infected with this yaba <deleted>. He's just noticing now how many women are in prisons in this country on drug charges! Some real and some fake charges. Perhaps he should notice why his flock is so desperate to buy, sell and use yaba. Perhaps part of the reason is that survival for many Thais has become extremely desperate. Maybe the great leader should think about that angle!

Popular Post Thingamabob
No way is the biggest business in Thailand about to be stopped no matter what the so-called PM pretends to be concerned about. 3
zzaa09
They must've run out of promoted activities to distract us with. Dusted off the old War on Drugs tactic.
law ling
The "veil of secrecy" on how the police deal with drugs was lifted recently in the Joe Ferrari case: the "dealer" was apparently willing to pay B1 mill for release, then the police upped it to B2 mill (then the plastic bag thing went overboard ... and end of story). So, on the PM's say so, such a lucrative business will now end?
