Or you could just lose weight? And I know that there is going to be a “I’m not overweight it’s for real mobility problems”

No it’s not, because if you actually had those problems you would already have a scooter or wheelchair. You would have provided your own as without it, you can’t move around. Funny how the mobility problems only manifest when it’s outside and hot in a foreign country!

Put down the beer and fish and chips and you wouldn’t need a “mobility scooter” to walk around which takes zero effort for the normal man…

You are a  coming over as a noxious person.

It seems to be in vogue with a few prolific posters. Manners maketh the man so I guess a great degree of immaturity and social inadequacy in real life. I blame school holidays.

Yes, I think so, a few newbies whose mothers have pawned their play-stations perhaps.

You have it completely backwards, big boy.

See, I don't need a scooter to move around, and if you do, to me that's more indictive of immaturity since you can't even do the most basic human thing right - not over eating like a pig, and getting exercise. That's way more immature - having zero self control like a toddler.

Seems to me the 350lb slob who needs a scooter to get around is vastly more immature than the person criticizing them, but hey what do I know, I'm just an able bodied man with a healthy weight who doesn't need wheels to travel down a sidewalk ????????‍♂️

I find your posts offensive and insulting. I saw the post about renting and thought I would find out more

I normally ride a motorbike but my sense of balance is getting worse. I have really started to notice it in the last couple of years. I'm 76 now and thought I would try one out before I buy.

There could be many reasons to want one for a few days. I would have loved to been able to rent one a few years ago when I broke my ankle. It doesn't mean I'm a 350 slob who exists on beer and fish  and chips, although I have been known to have fish and chips on a Friday occasionally.

Mobility scooter isn't a motorbike it's something fat people in Walmart use because walking around is a strain since they're so fat.

Anyone with actual mobility issues, I would imagine they take it with them when they travel. You can bring electric wheelchairs on planes now if they're not too big.

So someone wanting to "rent" one tells me -- they can move around on two legs, it's just uncomfortable probably due to being so fat.

I just wonder how old you are. Try getting into your 70s and see if you think the same way. I'm not immobile, I still play golf. It's my sense of balance that  is going haywire and 3 wheels are safer than 2.

Did you get your ears and eardrums checked? Having damage or nerve problems there there can lead to balance issues.

I'm deaf and have been wearing hearing aids for 30 years so I have seen many specialists over that time, So I don't really think thats an issue. It's called getting old everything starts to breakdown. You will find this eventually. I just hope for your sake it happens later than earlier.
