Hi all,

So my gf's daughter asked me if her coins are valuable. They are mostly the 1996 (2539) edition which has a different design from standard coins. She has many 10B, 5B, 1B and satangs from this year. I honestly don't know if they are worth more than their actual price.. From what I have seen online, price varies a lot from Lazada to Ebay.

So, do you gents know of any place(s) in Bangkok that trade in these kind of coins? I could try to call them and see if they would buy them and if the price is actually worth the trip.

Thanks in advance!

Edit: I have to add that all the coins are used. None of them are in pristine conditions. Which won't help I guess.

eurseree auction in Bangkok used to be the place where you would find stamp/coin/medal experts. Their website has not been updated for a while, perhaps due to covid and the ban on gatherings in one place.

They still have contact details listed though:

Most of the valuable flat coinage is from Rama 4 or 5 reign (like in the 1800's).  I have been to the eurseree auctions and the staff is quite friendly and will meet and talk with you.  Vituun (as I recall) is the owner/operator, quite friendly, the auctions are also enjoyable and not a rip off.  Most recent catalog is here:  http://sale60.eurseree.com/

No problem, they also deal with some foreign coins, but mostly Thai coinage.  You can see further in the catalog,
