US secretary of state Anthony Blinken met with Prime minister Prayut in Bangkok yesterday, where an MOU was signed to foster a closer relationship. Thailand hopes the U.S will raise the country’s rating

A Spanish tourist has drowned in the sea off Koh Chang, and a French tourist is still missing after both went swimming in rough seas, in spite of red flag warning signs on the beach.

 

The body of a 21 year old female Spanish tourist, was found floating in the sea. The search for the other tourist, a 22  year old French male was later called off due to poor weather conditions.

Mr Blinken arrived in Tokyo this morning to express condolences over the assassination of former prime minister Shinzo Abe.
