Telecoms Coverage

Featured Replies

In my on-going quest to get some form of internet service at my home I learned that TOT have monopolised entire sections of Bangkok with respect to the provision of telephone lines.

So its little wonder then that this quasi-private entity is able to remain in business despite the sheer amount of complaints about their reportedly shoddy service delivery.

I would soo like to use True, we have used them for years and had very little to complain about, but it looks like we will be stuck with TOT lines and possibly their internet service too, whenever they finally get around to installing telephone lines in my estate that is (3 months now since transfer and counting) ! :o

Is this news to just me? Is this common practice elsewhere? Any chance that this might change in the future? Is there hope?
