Hmmm, the UK ambulance service is not a pickup wiv flashing lights, it has highly trained staff, in a high-tech fitted out ambulance that to put together costs.

Food banks galore, don't be silly..

If the UK has a lot of crims to deal with, and folk earning lots of dosh to get them off, what do you expect.

Fuel bills, is the UK the only one having the problem, no...

Is your rant socialist bias, well, yes, but you forget, socialists have been in power just 30 of the last 120 years, they always get kicked out, now why is that, I wonder......????

Both parties get kicked out eventually. Between 1945 and 2010, when they were last 'kicked out', Labour were in power for 30 of the 65 years, not far short of half the time. You conveniently forgot about Ramsay MacDonald's governments, but facts never get in the way of a good Tory story.

I haven't forgotten anything, chum, the fact remains, Labour have had the reigns for just 25% of the time, that is fact, ask Dianne.....????

No it’s not free.

The NHS is paid for by taxes, tge people in the queue are paying for the service they are not receiving.

So everyone in that queue pays/paid taxes......?   ????

So everyone in that queue didn't get seen......?........????

You can do better than that, err, perhaps not...????

They don't look desperately sick. Stood in the sun in a heatwave?

I think one point may be that the waiting room is full and therefore it is necessary for people to queue outside. If so, this might lead to a secondary conclusion that it will take some considerable time for those people at the back of the queue to be attended to by a doctor/ nurse.

Of course I have no way of proving the above and accept that one among many possible other explanations is that the waiting room is completely empty, that those queueing are sun-worshippers and that this is the best sun spot in Northampton. Personally, I find this explanation less likely.

Hope this helps.

Yes, if they ever buy anything.

I think the photo was actually taken on Thursday or Friday, not Saturday, prior to heatwave perhaps. They may not be desperately ill but when told a doctor's appointment is weeks or months away, many will head to the A&E.

You stated it is free.

You are wrong, it’s not free.

You are very quick to lay blame on Tony Blair and Labour, but then attribute the deterioration of the NHS on Trust status, the brainchild of Thatcher and the Tories. A hint of political bias, maybe?

Tory supporters only defence against the charge that the NHS has deteriorated progressively under their watch is to mock Diane Abbott. Says it all.

If Labour haven’t got the balls to remove that embarrassment from their party how can you expect them to take the tough decisions required to run a country?

It’s symbolic. If you can’t fix a small issue you can’t fix a big issue.

I support leaving her there. She embodies the party perfectly and ensures they won’t return to power.

Just another example of defection and an unwillingness to take responsibility and accountability for your preferred party's actions.

Anyway, on the subject of  embarrassments:

And let's not forget good old Nadine

Cut the insults and admit you are just manipulating statistics to fit your argument.

Thank you for reminding me with you rightwing projection that it was the Tories who refused to remove the incompetent, corrupt liar Johnson until they had absolutely no other choice but to do so,

Quite why you have quoted me on this and then completely ignored the point I made is beyond me. However, I do agree with RayC regarding people's obsession with Abbott, a Labour backbencher and hardly the embodiment of the Party. I am not a particular fan of hers, but she is far less of an 'embarrassment' than many Tory MPs, not least the erstwhile leader of the Party, whose immorality and dishonesty are a disgrace.

Our beloved NHS has far more important things to focus on in these progressive times than providing luxury services like ambulances, such as filling essential roles such as this one.  Although I am shocked that such an essential position is only worth the equivalent starting salary of 4 full time paramedics so there is still a long way to go.

It seems most of the complaints are about non essential patients at hospitals, not the ambulance service.????

London ambulance service still have an average 7 minute response to class I calls.

Thanks for showing this insane ad.  No wonder the NHS is short of a few bob when they are shelling out lunatic money for a totally useless job (and permanent at that!), a job and department guaranteed to increase the amount of resentment and racism now afflicting the country.

The creation of lucrative posts requiring for appointment not merit but ideology (the "correct" type) will incur nothing but hatred as posts like this increase the amount of useless drivel people are now forced to consume in the name of "diversity, inclusivity" and general bo££ocks....

Imagine having tenure in the Health service in a job which has nothing to do with health!  (Other of course than the demented psychology of  people who dream up these appointments.)

I think you are just trying to be clever, but, did any of those "UK" folk in that queue get a bill from the NHS....Yes or No....?

The fact is, no UK citizen gets a bill for NHS hospital treatment, is that correct...Yes or No....?

No UK citizen gets a bill for using a UK G.P. doctor, is that correct...Yes or No...?

How the NHS is funded is another story, and yes, it has to be funded, but by giving UK individuals a bill, naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...????

The use of the word "chum" in this context. Okay, perhaps more condescension than insult, but still not acceptable.

Eeeer, where I come from it's a common word for friend, but never mind, you can think what you like, eh.....????

Just because all the vans are parked at an overloaded hospital in Northampton, doesn't mean they won't attend if one is having a heart attack or had a road traffic collision.

We don’t need photos or conclusions drawn from photos, we have data:
