Wanted by the Singapore police

 

The deputy Royal Thai Police spokesman yesterday commented on the case of a Thai woman with a Singaporean husband who have been named in a warrant for fraud by the Singapore police.

 

Pol Col Krissana Pattanacharoen said that there were 180 victims of the couple's alleged fraud, reported Sanook. 

 

It involved selling designer bags and watches valued at 800 million baht. 

 

The couple skipped bail while under interrogation and a Red Notice is now out worldwide with Interpol. 

 

Krissana said that the RTP chief - Pol Gen Suwat Changyodsuk - has told all authorities to be on the watch for the couple. 

 

It was true that the paperwork regarding the case has yet to be done but that was a formality as soon as the Singaporeans get in touch, he said.

 

Then added somewhat cryptically that he advised the public to get their news from trusted sources in relation to this story and not listen to unsubstantiated rumor.

Guess he sniffs some kick backs to be made. Shame that didn't/don't focus as much attention on the Red Bull heir.

That's a lot a lot of bags there for 800 million baht.. and so finally the cat is out of the bag huh?...

You can hide pretty well in the world with 80 million baht, though looking at them I think they'll pop up when the money runs out pretty soon

They could fly to Dubai, pay 150K usd each, wait 5-6 weeks and leave with a carribean passport incl. schengen and commonwealth access countries.

 Boring but true. Sell some knock off handbags immediate red notice. Brutally kill a policeman whilst on drugs, attempt to conceal the crime do a runner no red notice. 

Yet another numpty trying to claw back from the disaster that is the Thai justice system.
