geovalin Posted July 28, 2022 Share Posted July 28, 2022 Following a sharp criticism from the US, the Ministry of Interior and the National Police will launch an anti-human trafficking operation to tighten the noose around illegal foreigners staying in the country. The US State Department, in a report released on human trafficking on July 19, listed Cambodia as third-tier country for human trafficking, meaning that Cambodia has no will to fight against human trafficking. Sar Kheng, Interior Minister and chairman of the National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking, announced the government decision during the closing ceremony of a police leadership course at the Police Academy of Cambodia on Tuesday.
