I've been looking for public basketball courts in Jomtien/Pattaya and haven't been able to find one yet.

I found a "youth center" that only has a soccer arena and not much else.

I also found some courts that ended up being privately owned by hotels/condos.

 

So here I am looking for hints. Anyone know?

I wouldn't exactly call it a basketball court but there is an enclosed concrete area with a hoop under the flyover on the road up or down from Pratumnak to Bali Hai Pier. I daresay it cost the equivalent of an NBA court.

you know, in all my trips and walking around, I can't say I ever have seen a basket ball court, not even just a half court with one hoop.  Seems like something could be put up somewhere.  Sounds like a nice project for a Falang to try and organize and get some local support.  Must be some little piece of land somewhere that could be used.

bumping this topic.  are there any regular basketball games anyone is aware of?  I remember there being a pickup game at a large indoor basketball court on the dark side but I can't remember the name of the place.  I also played on the top floor of the building across from the old original tony's gym on 3rd road once, haven't been there for years.
