agg211
Does it make any difference when choosing between a tourist E Visa or a Visa Exempt regarding the need for an onward ticket, health insurance and proof of accommodation? Or is it the same for both options in this regard? Edited August 2, 2022 by agg211
ubonjoe
For a visa exempt entry the airline may ask to see a ticket out within 30 days and immigration can ask to see 20k baht or its equivalent in cash. No proof of insurance is required for entry to Thailand now. A single entry tourist visa applied for on the e visa site can require proof of accommodation and the 20k baht financial proof in a bank account. Plus a return or onward ticket.
