The examination of the Mountain B’s roof to find the cause of the fire that killed 15 people and injured dozens is set to begin while the owner of the venue “Sia B” is awaiting incarceration from the Pattaya Court.

A group of construction workers yesterday, August 7th, set up several scaffolds around the ruins of the Mountain B nightclub in preparation for the forensic team’s examination of the nightclub’s roof.

The club’s interior, according to the workers, was too dangerous to conduct a search because the ceiling was on the verge of collapsing; therefore, Pol. Lt. Gen. Thiti Sawang, Commander of the Provincial Police Region 2, ordered the forensic team and workers to access the roof from the outside.

The sacrifice was made by the 15 people who have burned on the pyre made of his parsimonious avarice and his carelessness.

It is not section 112 that would be worse and bail denied... Bail in his case is a shame.  an illegal club, not following the rules with the death of 15 people asa result and many injured can walk around, as if you open your mouth and go in ungerstrike they let you suffer in jail.... Friends for friends

I don't know that the 'rules' and 'regulations' and the procedures to obtain a qualifying certification are  'in place'.... someone who has gone through the exercise of opening a nightlife place can add that detail. As a layman, I suspect it might simply be a couple of guys with their hands out!

@ 27 years he must have done very well quickly in his adult life or family must have help sponsor this venture. Even though as mentioned  cost cutting in safety was responsible for this tragedy I can not believe a venue of this size went unnoticed by the envelope collectors unless his or wives father is involved ( I know my sherlock side getting the better of me)

The "owner"....K. Pongsiri, 27, IMO, rather young to be the owner of an establishment with Restaurant, Bar and Pork grill....that's been there for 2 years at least and maybe longer.

Is he the fall guy? I guess we'll never know, unless he happens to talk.

Why do you think that. 27 is a high age. At 19 years of age, I started my first business, that was a construction company. Run that successfully until I was 24. At that time I over took and rebuilt a restaurant, pub and nightclub with an additional seasonal outside garden with a total of 800 seats.

When will the investigation on the inside begin... of the RTP

I'm talking about how an illegal club can operate with impunity under the noses of the local police.

Police have been transferred I believe, they are as guilty as the owner because they allowed this establishment to operate.

50,000 x15 =750,000  10,000 x 12=120,000

This is the suggested pay off by this guy greed!  I wonder what he thinks his own family lives are worth!  ????
