sorry just had to be a smart ass. so many "how do i know" questions. going to a new country and relearning everything; it seems these posts were made by teens in high school new to love, haha. i guess in the types of situations farang guys are faced it is all new. but do you really want advice from, who even knows, online? i guess with advice they say, "hear all and choose your own". when it comes down to it if i gave someone advice and it was wrong, not much off my back but the person in it is gonna have to deal with the end result. the sad thing is people believe what they choose to believe, not what's the truth/factual. does this apply to you?

Yes.

Because I do not know the thruth.

But since you know, please tell us the truth, the whole truth,... :o

any situation has facts, FACTS. the difference between a fact and opinion is an opinion has no concrete reasoning to back it up. "because" is not a good reason. if you base your choice on the facts and not hearsay or "how it is" can you really go wrong? its people's emotions that cloud the view. like the saying goes, its always clearer from the outside looking in. aren't most countries judicial system based on the same principals of presenting facts and not the "well i think" or "doesn't that make sense to you"? :o

I'm very afraid a relationship in between people and trees or...

men and women

is very seldom based on facts.

Facts come later.

Disagree, 'Opinion' ONLY has reasoning to back it up. Fact has, well, evidence to back it up. That's the difference; Opinion is allways subjective.

Er, fine. If you happen to work for th CIA perhaps, and can borrow a lie detector. Odds are, you will not be able to reliably asertain those facts. Besides, facts are facts becuase they are historic. Historic results are no more than a guide to future events. This is even more so when used as a guide for matters of the heart. It also implies that logic will be used (i.e. That event 1 leads to event 2 given the same set of conditions As this involves human interaction, then logic is what dictates the course of action moving from event 1 to event 2). Unfortunatly, logic has little to do with emotion.

your definition of fact and opion is alot more exact then my vague one. i believed facts are facts due to proof not history? i have had professional relationships that were very factual base, but very different from the "norm" relations. we were very business orientated even at home. we would have mini business meetings rather than conversations. negotiations have you, can anybody relate? for your last statement "Unfortunatly, logic has little to do with emotion" pure fact, preach on brotha.

Yeah, but they have had to have happened to be FACTS, otherwise they're estimates. Thus they are historic. :o

Besides, in most relationships there is a female involved - there goes the logic again (doubly so if she's Thai I fear). :D

Man is not a logical creature but a emotional one

I do not remember who wrote it.

But it does not make it less true,...

if they have happened its an event/history, if its a facts its been proven. the first guy who wadded up paper of some sort to wipe his ass isn't a fact. i don't think you can compare facts to events. you could use an event as an example to proove a fact. unless your talking about tangeable facts. sorry, smart ass again :o that last statement, brave man. i'd be worried about the flaming from the Thai women on that, haha. This whole Thai dating dynamics is, well i haven't taken it all in just yet. :D

Many times I've seen totally opposite opinions formed from looking at exactly the same facts.

Man is not a logical creature but a emotional one

Too true.

This is the saddest, most boring, b###s### thread I've come across yet. Facts

change constantly. The church of the day refused to believe Copernicus because they had their 'facts' straight and he did not as far as they were concerned.

What has facts got to due with most threads on here anyway?

Most are posted about a guy with a woody willey and no where to stick it,or someone that won't eat the foods available and is slowly starving to death cause he ain't got sense to cook something, or don't know how much to send his BG every week while he is home in Staffordshire with his wife and kids,,and then someone has the audacity to mention "LOGICALLY" on a forum in Thailand :o

as policemen(women) learn quickly from the simplest of conflicts.. there are 3 versions of the 'truth'..one persons story , the other persons story and what really happened.

and you better hope the tree is not enamoured of your ute(pickup)
