A 60-year-old Swedish expat is on the run tonight according to Pattaya Police after injuring one Thai man and stabbing his own boyfriend several times with a knife following a domestic dispute.

 

The incident reportedly took place around 7:00 P.M tonight, August 15th, 2022 at the View Talay Two Condo Building B in Jomtien in an apartment on the fourteenth floor.

 

According to Sawang Boriboon rescue services they arrived after getting a frantic call from the condo that 49-year-old Wichit Onlaor had been stabbed several times with a paring knife in the chest and ribcage. Wichit was seriously injured and rushed to a local hospital. Wichit is reportedly the boyfriend of the foreign suspect.

Also injured with a cracked skull was 41-year-old Lek Sosud.

According to Lek, he had come over just to visit his friend Wichit when the Swedish man, whose name has been not released at this time by Pattaya Police, came home and accused the two men of having an affair. Lek denies this allegation and stated the two men were just hanging out as friends.

A furious argument began and according to Lek the Swedish man grabbed a knife from the kitchen, stabbed his boyfriend several times and then attacked Lek, slamming his head into a counter and wall several times. The foreign man then fled.

Pattaya Police are tracking down the Swedish suspect as of press time and have urged the man to turn himself in and give his side of the story. They fear, however, that he may try to flee the country and have alerted Immigration.

When a relationship is not working out, why not just walk away? That is what well developed adults do. Why all the madness and drama? 

 

Perhaps it is impossible for those of us who are rational, and possess a reasonably sound mind, to understand this kind of craziness. And I guess that is a good thing! 

Many on here have experienced jealous crazy Thai ladies but this just highlights another type of craziness. Must be a gay thing or a nationality issue? A Thai lady would probably have concluded the situation with no comeback. How long before the perpetrator gets caught? If he was a well connected Thai, a clandestine border hop and flight to freedom would have already occured. Lets see how soon he is snared by the Boys in Brown through a "tip off". Or maybe the buffoon will check into a hotel using his passport and be located by TM30. Bet the immigration police are all over this one looking for glory and a photo opportunity.

Of course the Swede will be found. 

It's impossible to tell from the reporting what really happened and we haven't heard from the Swede, so even more so.

But fleeing usually indicates guilt.

This is Thailand!   Farang in the wrong always, jealous,  anger, panic, is in all of us some more than others.

Age not really relevant for those folks (Farang and Thai and all nationalities) who enjoy drama, seem to always get themselves into situations where drama is bound to happen/they can generate drama.

 

One case: years back I had a farang friend living in a big very convenient and comfortable apartment building in Bkk, he was a good cook especially with Thai food and often several other Thai men/couples who lived in the building came for meals, all on the floor (normal).

 

The apartment opposite was occupied by a farang and his partner a mid 20s gatoey. The farang went to work (teacher) and the gatoey sat in the doorway in skimpy clothes and asking men walking along the corridor if they were lonely etc.

 

Again and again my farang friend would be at home and a knock on the door, the farang opposite (the teacher) had just come home from work and his gatoey friend instantly in tears, claiming that when the farang opposite (my acquaintance) came home and when other Thai men came to the same apartment they were, saying rude words and saying things suggesting the gatoey was a pro. So the teacher was  asking again and again for the abuse to stop. Compounding all of this the gatoey would at the right moment intervene in the conversation saying 'if they give me 1,000Baht I will forgive them'. And continuously telling the farang teacher bf to punch the 'offending' males

 

My farang acquaintance got tired of this and made arrangements to move to another floor of the building, and no drama. A few months later he was approached in the lobby of the building by another farang who had moved into the apartment with the gatoey opposite. After a few months he had also moved to another floor. 

look at the crappy stuff westerners do whilst you haters go on about Indians and their straws.

Most stabbings here happen in the heat of the moment, and so it's probably fortunate that the nearest weapon that comes to hand is some crappy, bendy cheapo fruit (no pun intended) knife.

A serious set of good quality chef's knives, and the murder stats would be through the roof.

I think the Swede may have known a thing or two about knives.  He went for the victim's chest and ribcage, IMO trying to slip the paring knife between the ribs and into the heart & other organs.
