Hey, good job man,

Though this proves once again that I live in a dead zone (Phitsanulok).

How about a network for sharing/selling used items like CD's/DVDs not wanted/viewed, electronics, furntiture, anything that could be transported around Thialand reasonably, so that Engilsh-speaking people could develop community and share resources.

Hey Up in Phitsanulok,

actually the baht n' sold is designed for that very reason- just a way for expats all over Thailand, who want to buy/sell/exchange stuff, any stuff plus houses, cars, bars...etc! It's free.

The guys at Avis assure me :o my little paper gets distributed to ALL their airport counters, so drop by the Phits airport or have a friend check up for me -Altho when I passed thru Hat Yai airport last month, they had only one beat up copy and it was behind the counter :D

Better yet, pm me and I'll send you some copies directly. Know of any expat hangouts up your way? Just tell 'em to email me and done!

Had a guy up in Mae Hong Son who made a request, same for Khon kaen (KK expats, drop by Europe Guesthouse next week to get a copy), even down in Langkawi, guys can drop by the Langkawi Yacht club (ask for the Zenith) and so on. I'm currently distro'ing July copies and when I get back, I'll update the distro locations online.

Since the Bkk Post classifieds won't 'permit' me to advertise (falls somewhere between a mystery and a compliment) the success of this project really depends on word o' mouth and distribution follow-up. Btw, I think this was a 'banning' done by some overzealous gate keepers in their classifieds domain and not an expression of company policy... ... Ah well, they can run an ad with me anytime :D

I really appreciate the amazing support from all over, wOw and thx!

I like your area. But I visit Naresuan University, and there is a bit of life there, and a visit to Sukhothai is still worthwhile.

Hi Daniel,

yesterday i've visited your website.

Good one.

But.....don't you think it would be a good idea to attach the date of placement to every ad?

Today i've visited the site again......but don't know what ads i've already read.

Ciao

Thx for dropping by. Working on a new php program which will show date, visits, allow you to edit, delete etc, etc. Up till now, my # 1 focus has been on getting nationwide hardcopy distribution in place. Watch for the new program next month.

Meantime, all advertisers rcv a monthly email, prior to print, asking if they would like to edit or delete their ads. Newest ads appear first in order on each page- so, the further back you go, the older the ads are. Having said that, all ads are active for 60 days online and the advertiser is then emailed notified and asked if they'd like it deleted.

Now, if anyone out in the far flung regions who'd like to contribute a piece on your neck 'o the LOS, just let me know... (no narcissicists pls)
