A report into the collapse of a concrete section of a bridge that fell onto vehicles on Rama 2 Road on July 31st, killing two people and injuring two others,... says a reinforced slab was believed to have been removed for maintenance,  This cause the outside section to distort, weaken and then collapse. A Committee will submit a full report to the minister of transport shortly.

The section is being re-designed and is due to be re-assembled in October.

A former MP from Nakhon Sawan has lost his appeal against a death sentence for the murder of a billionare construction company owner in 2015. 

Banyin Tang-pakorn was convicted of conspiring to kill Chuwong Sae Tang by placing his body in a car which was involved in a an accident,  evidence showed Chuwong did not die in the accident but was murdered.

Five senior police officers at Din Daeng station have been transferred pending an investigation into alleged negligence after security camera footage showed an armed man stealing around 300 thousand baht cash from a gambling den, the video was posted on facebook on Wednesday and went viral.

Police have now arrested the operator of the gambling center, and apprehended the 35 year old gunman.

A committee will look into whether a senator had abused his power to help his alleged mistress, a police corporal accused of abusing her maid, get a state job. 

The investigation will look to see if 43 year old Pol Corporal  Kornsasi held any position within the senate. 
She now faces charges relating to abuse of her house maid.
