Forty seven groups and organizations submitted a joint letter calling for Gen Prayut  to resign immediately" from the post of PM without waiting for the ruling of the Constitutional Court.

The letter states that caretaker PM Gen Prawit lacks legitimacy and the situation is "worsening". The groups also called for a clear time frame from the Constitutional Court to make it’s ruling.

Some 400 officials and police began to demolish five resorts that they say were unlawfully constructed in the mountainous "sea of clouds" tourist area,

Angry villagers protested the demolition. They called on the authorities to wait until the local court makes its decision. Forestry officials say that 36 resorts had been built there illegally. Their owners were being sought for prosecution.
