Rescue services including Bang Khen firemen took two pythons into custody yesterday following an attack.

A snake had featured on a clip on social media after it rushed out and bit a staffer at the Forest Research and Training Center in northern Bangkok, reported Siam Rath.

The creature that did the biting was 3.5 meters long and undernourished.

It will be assessed before a decision is made on its future.

Take off it's head and distribute to the locals! I know its a <deleted> comment...!

I hope they don't kill them. This the exactly the same "problem" with soi dogs that's being raised. These animals are here doing whatever they can to survive. We (humans) are the ones that are invading their territory. We should at least do all we can to make sure they are treated "humanely" (although that term is an oxymoron ???? ), and moved off to somewhere they can live without being constantly disturbed by hubristic humans.

Lot of snakes now on the move due to all the recent rain. Leave them alone and they'll return the favour.

If it had young in the vicinity then it is understandable but normally they wont attack unless they feel threatened.

Very well said.

Definite case of "attitude adjustment" required.

Rains and floods have moved them from normal locations.. hungry and lethargic they are looking for food/energy.

Well, if I were undernourished, I might also feel like taking a bite out of something....
