For the last 6 years i have obtained my Non Img O in the UAE, simple process and no need to show any proof of funds. It may be my job situation will change, so i am looking to use Singapore for my next visa. I have been reading here Singaopre require a bank statement. I have a USD account with Citi-Bank in Bangkok, and also a USD account with HSBC in Jersey. Is this ok or are they looking for a Thai Baht account. I have a Baht account but only leave a small amount due to the interest rate.

They are only looking for proof you can support yourself without working in Thailand. Any bank account is fine - but statement should be within the last 30 days to be safe.

Do they have any set figure they wish to see as a minimum ?.

This is Singapore Embassy for multi entry non immigrant O visa issue (in case it is not clear).

The financial requirements are 400k baht for marriage and 800k baht (at current exchange rates) for age over 50.

Sorry i should have mentioned, my multi entry visa type O is based on marriage. By the way i am over 50, is this type of visa easier to obtain, or should i just stick with the marriage visa.

For extensions of stay from Immigration retirement is always easier but if you have marriage certificate and copy of wife ID card (I would also have short note from her to indicate she wants you visit) then it should not matter which you use in Singapore.
