Covid-19 patients at risk of complications could be given long-acting antibodies  as a preventative medication to ward off the disease.

The antibodies can be used to effectively treat Covid-19 patients and has already been approved for use by Japan and Europe.

Meanwhile the health department says it has approved  a plan on how to best manage covid 19 after it is classified as an endemic disease next month.

 

A suspected drug trafficker from Myanmar has been arrested in Bangkok. 53 year old Tun Min Latt is thought to have ties with the military junta and has business interests in hotels, energy and mining.

 

He  was detained with 3 Thai Nationals suspected of conspiracy to traffic narcotics and money laundering.

 

Assets worth 136 million baht held by a police general,  as well as his wife and daughter are to be confiscated after an investigation into unusual wealth.

 

Gen Somchai, was found guilty last month of possessing unusual wealth. 14 items are being seized including a plot of land in Hua Hin and savings of more than 13 million baht as well as property in Bangkok and a 200 thousand baht car. 

A  police officer crashed his pick up truck  into five motorcycles last night, killing a 25 year old motorcyclist and injuring three people at traffic lights in Buriram. The incident was caught on CCTV.

 

A civil partnership bill is due to be introduced to the House for its deliberation in the second and third readings in November, the government is likely to amend around 70 laws concerning married couples of people of different genders to support civil partnership.
