The Thai Meteorological Department on Wednesday, September 28th, reported on the weakening NORU typhoon to a tropical storm before passing over Ubon Ratchathani and Amnat Charoen on Thursday, September 29th.

According to the announcement, the affected areas are as following:

Northeast: Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket, and Ubon Ratchathani
Central: Lop Buri, Saraburi, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

This is a big one encompassing the whole region.

Gonna be some nasty flooding throughout the country in the next couple of days.

Prepare in the way that you might.

Good luck to all.

We expect it here late afternoon tomorrow and hopefully much weaker.

(though the predicted path is within a few km to our location)

Regarding the floods: had a de javu of 2011.

Empty shelves with no milk from my favorite brand.

Others almost sold and a few days old.

Transport is obstructed.

Be prepared for more empty shelves.

Not overly concerned about Vit D deficiency yet.

Excellent nice and cool, but I dare say some on here will have their air con on some freeze blast setting

Nakhon pathom, a light shower over Wednesday night, Thursday morning 08:00 rain ceased and bright sky with light winds.

Hung the washing out to dry

Thursday: Pak Chong. Still raining !

It's been chucking it down non-stop since yesterday afternoon. Perhaps I should consider planting rice, I've now got the unintentional paddy field.
