Welcome to Thaivisa and just out of curiosity which definition of auditor fits your statement.

1. One that audits accounts.

2. One who audits a course.

3. One who hears; a listener.

It did sound sarcastic, but since it wasn't, apologies.

I went to kauditor's blog website listed on his post and here is what it said 'This blog is dedicated to describe normal accounting & auditing practices in place on: 1. accounting treatments of certain issues (e.g. prepayment) 2. common audit issues 3. any other accounting & auditing related topics. 4. auditing & accounting career'

My guess is that the point of his post was to introduce himself ??? If so then I extend my "Welcome"

Holy mother of god. Someone creates a blog about 'normal accounting practices'?

Add kauditor to the list of people "I wish i could have dinner with before I die."

Might be wrong, but the words 'unpaid' and 'ad' comes to mind. Perhaps even the words 'multiforum registration'.

Added: perhaps should add that this all depends on his posts to come. His first post just sounded like a outsourced person payed to multiregister on forums and put one post out. That I've encountered a few times. Hope I'm wrong.

kauditor, I used to be an auditor once, millions of years ago, back home in the USA. It's boring to sit in a room alone, auditing books and records. It was fascinating to hear the weak excuses that taxpayers had for claiming bogus tax deductions. For example, once the IRS required people to list the social security numbers of their 'dependents' thousands of pets stopped being claimed as dependents.

I reckon auditors and dentists should undergo the Thai Airways Psychological Screening Test

before becoming members.

they are all potential inducers of narcolepsy.

No big deal T, we all have our off days.

What's up?

Fried rice a little iffy today?

Feel much better today . Like you thought felt a bit itchy , maybe it was the fried rice (I did actually ate it ) :D . I am sorry to the OP , I can say the 'S' word after feeling misleadingly unhelpful. :o

There, you see?

You just needed burping.

BTW, I suspect TAWP was right about the OP.

Hmmm, he logged in, made two similar posts in 3 minutes and hasn't been back since.

No links on the profile, or any other information. Wonder if he's logged into any other boards like this recently ?

Auditing may seem like a dull unexciting profession, but wasn't there Aussie auditor working for the rubber business down South who was assassinated a few years back?

Kauditor, if you are pursuing your profession in LOS, I advise you to watch your back. :o

Yes. He was a Deloitte corporate restructuring expert based in Melbourne, so not strictly an auditor. Name of Michael Wansley. I was working with Deloitte in a management role at the time, although I didnt know him well cos I'd only just joined the firm when it happened. It wasnt rubber. It was a sugar company in Northern Thailand. He was there to handle their corporate restructuring in light of a 16bn baht debt; in the course of his job he discovered a lot of financial irregularities. Some of the company execs wanted him dead to cover their tracks.

This was back in 1999.

Two guys - a policeman and a sugar company employee - were sentenced to death last year for the crime. The sugar company's HR manager was sentenced to life in prison for conspiring to kill Michael.
