Thai Rath reported that "Uncle Too" - the Thai peoples' name for PM Prayuth Chan-ocha - went back to work at Government House yesterday.

He arrived in his private Mercedes Benz.

After paying homage to some sacred objects and ancestors he was back at his desk.

His first job was to receive new ambassadors Arman Issetov from Kazakhstan and Australia's Angela Macdonald.

Prayuth - whose nickname means to grab something by force - was given permission to carry on as PM in a Constitutional Court ruling delivered last week concerning his 8 year tenure in Thailand's top political position.

So he spends the night at a lady's house and when he leaves in the morning her kid asks "is that my uncle too?"
