Non-immigrant "o" Extend 90 Day Stay At Immigration?

Featured Replies

I've checked through loads of posts and pages, including searches, but haven't managed to find the answer ... though I'm sure it must be somewhere!

I have a Non-Immigrant "O' visa and until now have always had to go out of Thailand long before the 90 day stamp expires, so never had to do a visa run. My current stamp expires about 7-10 days before I plan on going out of Thailand again.

(My "O" visa expires in just under a month from now and I plan on coming back into Thailand a couple of days before that.)

There is nothing on visa to say 'no extension of stay possible'.

Can I go to Immigration (Pattaya), pay 1,900 Baht and get an extension of my 90 day stay? If so, do I use form TM7 and what is the longest period I can request an extension for?

If I cannot extend then it will be cheapest/quickest to do a Cambodian Visa run I guess? If so, can anyone recommend an efficient :o pleasant company to deal with in Jomtien/Pattaya.

Thanks for any advice.

Believe they will tell you to exit Thailand and return, as your visa is still valid and that is what a multi entry visa is for.

If they allow an extension it would not be for longer than 7 days and you would use a TM.7/photos/1,900 baht.

Thanks Lopburi, doesn't sound promising, has anyone had experience of doing this at Pattaya ... they seem quite an affable crowd there from my limited experience.
