Wear a hat and never look up so the camera’s can’t use face ID ? Never use social media, right ? - only anonymous media like this forum? Always use a VPN ? Never use online or mobile Banking ? Never use online shopping such as Amazon, Lazada, Shopee ? Always pay for your full hotel stay in advance and use a cash-deposit (no card) ? Where is the line drawn on a neurotic ‘cash only’ ideology ??? Just use whatever is the most convenient... in some cases its cash, in others its a Credit Card, in or paying via QR code, ApplePay or ’Tap n Go’... Not neurotic. About half of those questions I'd say yes to. Perhaps ironically or paradoxically for a few of you I'm not especially guarded about my passport #. Never had any issues I'm aware of after eight passports. Some things are just out of our control. My wife does a great deal of electronic processing online. Not to push it on her but again just minimizes the exposure. I do have an emergency cc. Rarely use it.

I have no idea, I am from the UK, use a UK bank and a UK ATM card for purchases in UK shops and have no problem if someone knows everything that I buy

Even when I go to the bank and they want to see ID I show them my Thai driver's license and that's ok I wonder if next they will want to see ID for a debt card?
