Thailand Introduces New Bill to Regulate Cannabis While Keeping It Legal
The rise of hard drugs in Thailand is unrelated to weed consumption and occured before weed was tolerated. Young people switch directly from alcohol to chemical party drugs, in particular in Thailand. On top of it, police forces would have enough to do by fighting against hard drugs, instead of losing their time with weed offenses! -

Bye bye Electric & Hello Hydrogen?
What happens when the power is cut? Dead on the rails. The only solution for trains is diesel, especially freight trains where 2-6 locomotives with low end torque are needed to climb hills. How about onboard nuclear powered trains and vehicles…yeah now I’m interested. -

Bicycle transport on Thai Airways long distance - your experience?
One airline you definitely want to avoid when traveling with a bicycle is Turkish airline. Happened to a friend flying from Europe to Vietnam. Paid the sports equipment fee of 150 € 75 per leg, At the airport they told him the fee had just doubled .He had no choice but to pay an additional 150, or they would have refused to check in the bike. 4 weeks later, he arrived back home, but his bicycle did not. Was told that it was still in Istanbul. After 4 days calling Turkish Airline numerous times, the bicycle was finally dropped at his doorstep, totally wrecked. Turkish refused to pay compensation. Months later, he has hired a lawyer and gone the legal route. The lawyer is probably gonna cost him more than the cost of the bike, but he is mad as hell. -

Provided he obtained a re-entry permit before departing, on re-entry he will be stamped in until the expiry date of his current 1-year extension. -

Anyone use a UK postal address service?
The litmus test is to run it past Google Street Maps view and weigh up it's viability as a residence (I'm sure the bank would if any suspicion was flagged) -

What’s the best area in Thailand for expats to settle for long-term living?
That was a freelancer. Nice girls don't go around hitting on farang tourists. Passivity seems to be your problem. It takes time and a little effort to establish trust with respectable girls with conventional morals. Not the place to discuss that topic, however. We have numerous experts, even if failed, who'd be happy to explain in some other long thread. -

What does this do?
I'm good thanks 👍 Termination, Junction boxes. When they submerged the overhead cables on Walking Street dozens of them installed. -

Non-B How long can you stay out of Thailand?
A friend of mine has a Non-B visa with a 1 year extension. He had to return to the USA for some family matters but is still working online for the Thai bank he works for. It seems like I once read somewhere that if you remain out of Thailand for more than 180 days your extension will be cancelled and you have to start the process over again. I believe he has a two year work permit and one year extension. He will be returning before the extension expires. Is that true or am I misremembering. 🙂 -

Pedestrian Struck on Crossing by Motorbike: Suffers Broken Ribs and Ruptured Spleen
The Only Solution. The bike rider is charged with attempted manslaughter and is sentenced to jail for 5 years - and then make every media outlet publish the story about the jail sentence. Then do it again the next time - the more the injury, then the longer the sentence - minimum 1 year if you hit a pedestrian on a crossing. That is the ONLY thing that will wake these people up - punishment that is publicised. PS - what happened to that off duty policeman who killed that doctor on that crossing?? In response to that tragedy they painted the crossings with red paint - what a effin waste that was. -

Fishing Incident Claims Father's Life in Mae Hong Son
Teaching your kids to swim is part of parenting, because most children, teens and adults love the water sports. It's not hard, and just the basics, not panicking, can save their lives. I don't see it done here and this is why so many perish in the waters here every year. -

Starmer Asserts Control Amid Internal Turmoil Over Sue Gray’s Salary Dispute
It's not just the telegraph though is it? Labour have lost: 1. The pensioners 2. The working class 3. The leftists Even the likes of Novara media and Owen Jones are anti-Labour now. According to a times YouGov poll 1 in 7 people who voted for Labour regret doing so. His popularity ratings have already sunk lower than Sunak. Those Labour MPs you cite probably want to stay as MPs for longer than a single term and with such a hypocritical, weak, incompetent, lying grifter of a leader who is trashing Labour's reputation and making the UK a global laughing stock, just how long do you think they will put up with this? -

Bye bye Electric & Hello Hydrogen?
they have been working on research and development for hydrogen vehicles for centuries, with only limited success so far, or perhaps more accurately, mostly failure ... but who knows what the future holds ...
