Is Thai driving license OK for TrueMoney Wallet?

Featured Replies

Long time ago I tried to set up that TrueMoney thingy, but they didn't accept passport only, of course... Now I have Thai driving license, and I'm wondering did anyone had success with that? (so it's only passport & Thai driving license - no yellow book or pink ID card)... No big deal if it doesn't work, I planned to use it in 7-11's only (every other place accepts PromptPay, except 7-11).  Cheers, Alex

Yes, about 6 months ago i used thai driving licence or passport, i can't remember which one

I did it successfully about a year ago with a Thai driver's license.

Here is a list of what they accepted then:

- Work permit
- Alien identity card
- House registration
- Driving license
- Student certification letter

Thanks all... Passed by True center at the mall, asked them to helped me sign up for True Money Wallet (to avoid issues with taking photos) used passport and Thai license - and all went fine.

But, next day got SMS from True: "Thank you etc... Unfortunately, we are unable to approve your application. Please ensure that your supporting documents are correct and stil valid" (they are).

So... I guess I'll try one more time, if not then I'll just give up and just use contactless credit card payments at 7-11 (that was the only big purpose of getting True Money Wallet anyway).
