Thai Rath reported that RTP deputy Pol Lt-Gen Torsak Sukwimol was thoroughly displeased after a video showed a motorcyclist driving dangerously in Bangkok.

Torsak leads the force's action against wrongdoing on the roads including road racing.

He ordered Bangsaothong police chief Pol Col Suphasak Poriyanon to investigate after a clip hit social media.

The clip - that can be viewed HERE - featured footage with running commentary from an amused motorist.

"Ooohoo sut yort" (wow that's amazing) shrieks the motorist as the man weaves in and out of fast moving traffic with his feet off the pedals and standing at some points.

It tuned out to be 36 year old Pratheep who lives at a panel beater's in Taling Chan.

He admitted it was him and was pictured pointing at his licence plate.

He said he was just enjoying himself on the way to a temple to make merit.

He denied taking drugs, a matter that was confirmed with a urine test.

The court fined him 4,500 baht and jailed him for a month, suspended for 2 years.

In addition the escapade earned Pratheep 20 hours of community service.

That's a fairly common occurrence on Highway 11 between Lamphun and Chiang Mai.  Why report it.  What will the cops do.  Small fine and a hand-slap.  The guy is probably out doing it again today.

Saw a kid a few months ago laying flat on the top of the bike hanging on to the handles though. No helmet or shoes and going a fair lick down a mani road. Had to check the dashcam to check I was not seeing things

Reading comprehension.

Try it.

Dude can really "air pedal"‼️????

Not the worst riding I see here in Bangkok. Sometimes at night I think my condo has been moved onto Buriram racetrack.
