Investigators looking into the pub in Yannawa where many Chinese tourists were arrested for drug taking last week have found 120 baht.

 

The money was in a plastic see through container along with documents related to the business such as receipts and member lists.

 

No "Happy Water" - a kind of drug - was found in the safe that had been kept in the pub because it was too large to move. 

 

Three other safes are now in the cells at the police station as locksmiths and forensics were called.

 

The press were being kept away, reported Thai Rath who were told that senior police would conduct a press conference shortly.

You would think they would want 2 press people to watch the safe openings.  The need for transparency is great now with the police

in other mass media they call this safe a "safety box".

How were police able to open immediately 2 safes with 700k each, but couldn't open a safety box with just 120b?

Why police will look at safes for happy water, if it was already found plentiful on the floor at club's warehouse?

Story about "safety box", happy water are just smokescreens to what really was found in this safe

In Thai speak 120 baht is actually 120 million baht which was spirited away by the BIB.  Happy days.
