We are planning to get married with my long term Thai gf, document list for myself is fairly simple...get clearance from my embassy, get it notarized at Thai Ministry of Foreign affairs and good to go.

My question is, does the paper from my embassy need to be done in Bangkok only, or can be any embassy world wide and then simply translate to Thai & notorized at Thai Ministry of Foreign affairs in Bangkok at later stage? I'm currently working in another third country, it would simplify the process to get at least that paper out of the way here, rather than plan a separate day in Bangkok for that...with all annoying ongoing online appointments at embassies etc....

I don't think one would be accepted that was done at a embassy or consulate in another country.

Also not sure a embassy or consulate outside of Thailand would do one.
