Featured Replies

The East Asia Summit (EAS) yesterday also failed to adopt a joint statement while Russia and the US have failed to agree on language for a joint statement following the18 nations’ heated discussions over the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

The EAS was attended by the leaders of nine Asean member states, Asean Secretary-General Lim Jock Hoi; US President Joe Biden; Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese; Chinese Premier Li Keqiang; Indian Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar; Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida; Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern; South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol; and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
