Photo by VnExpress/Minh Anh The defense ministry has agreed to upgrade a French-era airport in the southern Binh Phuoc Province exclusively for use by special flights. Hon Quan airport, built in the 19th century by the French in Hon Quan District, is currently used by the military. Following the upgrade, it will be used for planes carrying people and cargo for special purposes, rather than common transportation, such as transporting equipment for a hospital, machinery for a construction project and experts and skilled workers to a company or project.
