Pothole pandemonium: Pattaya dark shortcut sparks chaos
Frustrated residents of South Pattaya have had enough of the endless construction chaos on the infamous shortcut road on Thep Prasit Soi 7. After years of delays and mounting complaints, city council members Nikom Saengkaew and Prasatporn Deeden finally stepped in on November 16 to address the issue. The unfinished road, meant to link Thep Prasit Soi 7 to Soi 9 and Soi 17, has been a community headache for years. Locals, including a vocal resident known as Lung Nieng, expressed their outrage over the lack of progress and the absence of street lighting, which makes the route perilous, particularly at night. “It’s a nightmare trying to navigate this road.” Acknowledging the severity of the situation, the city council members confronted the contractor, demanding swift action. While the project’s final concrete work remains incomplete, the contractor promised an immediate fix: temporary concrete panels will be installed to smooth out the road and make it safer for vehicles. “The temporary improvements will be done without delay.” This long-awaited response is a glimmer of hope for weary residents who rely on the shortcut. However, many remain sceptical, given the project’s prolonged timeline. Until the lights are finally switched on and the last pothole is filled, the community will be keeping a close eye on progress. For now, residents are cautiously optimistic that this long-standing inconvenience will finally be resolved, bringing some much-needed relief to South Pattaya’s roads, reported Pattaya Mail. Donald Trump Jr. Alleges Biden’s Actions Could Trigger World War III Before Trump’s Return
While disregarding any claims by Trump of divine like interventions one way or another there has not been any measurable signs of preparation for POTUS next other than confusion by Zelensky, mirth by Putin, economic desperation by Netanyahoe and massive trade cessations by Xi. The ether(net) hums with counter propagandist to counter propagandist crapola that in effect has only increased the white noise in the brains conscious people . DT Jnr. is struggling to maintain any media significance but he may also so not be wrong. Joe just dumped on Trump with the missiles "permission". As Trump prepares to abandon Ukraine to the intent of Putin while he takes false aim at China not so many publicly have yet woken up to the misguided devious background strategy of the devolution of US imposed political hegemony. -

British Tourist Attacked in Pattaya: Nose Broken, Eye Bruised; Authorities on the Hunt
Agreed. Pattaya people are used to seeing people drunk off their ***. That in itself would not provoke a beating. You'd have to be drunk and aggressive and annoying enough for them to snap. -

Appeal Launched for British Teacher Gravely Injured in Thailand Crash
I'm not quite sure about that - I've been work permitted here over various projects in the past, I was not aware of any social security health care I had access too (had private cover though). I believe the employer has to set that up, or, if self employed, he has to register for that himself. It may not have been something he was aware of, even while (if) working legally.
