Football's governing body FIFA warned Thailand's broadcast regulator the NBTC that it will cut the feed to Thailand if it fails to control violations of its broadcast rights which have been received  abroad. This would result  in Thailand missing the remaining matches in World Cup.

 

Police in Narathiwat hope to interview a woman who they issued a driving ticket to, after the truck she was driving turned out to be the vehicle that blew up killing a policeman on Tuesday.


It’s believed she may be able to lead them to the killer who was seen on CCTV leaving the vehicle then getting away on a motorcycle just before the vehicle exploded.


A Chinese businessman known as "Tu-hao" surrendered to police in Bangkok yesterday. Mr Chaiya-nat and his team of lawyers faced questions in connections with the drugs trade and operating an illegal nightclub in chinatown  where 104 mainly Chinese customers tested positive for drugs last month.

The minister of justice says officers busted a drugs network during 22 raids leading to the arrest of 6 people and seizure of assets valued at 2.4 billion baht. The network was run by a drug kingpin known as. "Long Sae-Lee"

Malaysia’s king will hold a special meeting with advisors today to seek their views on the impasse over the formation of a new government.


The king also urged people to stay calm and be patient until the process to form a new government is completed..

 

Indonesia: Rescuers pulled five-year-old boy  named Azka from the rubble yesterday, following a 5.6 magnitude earthquake that struck West Java on Monday. 


More than 270 people have been killed and some 40 people are still missing. 12 thousand military personnel are helping with rescue efforts. 


Several hundred people displaced by the disaster appealed for food and essential supplies. 

 

Cambodia: Prime Minister Hun Sen ordered authorities to work with Thailand to clear all mines and remaining explosives in border areas thought to cover around 40 square kilometers.  His announcement came on the 30th anniversary of anti-mine action in Cambodia.
