Daily News Thai Caption: Angry when there was no money in his account

We've all been there. We expect money to be in our accounts from a job but the ATM says no!

This happened to Sam, a painter, who went to an ATM outside a shopping center in Trang, southern Thailand, on Tuesday to withdraw his payment from a job.

But there was no money in his account and in addition his card was taking an age to be spewed out.

This set Sam off - he was already very drunk after a session with friends.

He kicked the Krung Thai machine then used a lump of concrete two times to smash it up.

It was all coaught on CCTV before the peeved painter fled with a friend on a motorcycle.

Muang Trang police found him at home yesterday and he was taken to the scene of the crime where he did the requisite pointing and offered apologies to society for his actions, reported Daily News

He was found to have no drugs in his system and was charged with causing damage, something he readily admitted.

He has a nice big smartphone in his hand, why he don't check banking app for his balance? Even when I'm pished I can still manage that!

555. Somehow, against all odds, I've managed on more than a few occassions to pay my bar/club bills with my phone by QR code at end of the night. Check the amounts next day. Thankfully, there's always been enough funds and never mistakenly added an extra digit. Yet!

It's quite the art isn't it? I've done it when I was quite drunk but I've yet to try it when I'm paralytic. I can't drink that much anymore ????
