Not sure it really changes anything. You can't smoke ganja in the shop. It's been legally that way now for months, but not enforced. Now it is (briefly) enforced to satisfy the frothing ignorant paranoid moral guardians. Most people don't seem to care and can see there really isn't a problem.

Agree but why bother to upset more tourists spending a lot of baht. Khao Sarn is nothing like it was in the early 90's. Let the people MAJE  some money!  2 1/2 years of corona BS

I think the problem that they have is the hypocrisy of saying that you can not smoke in buildings, You cannot smoke shisha but you can smoke Maiojuana.

There is a bit of a WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. to that rule.

Personally I could not see making pot legal but keeping shish as illegal.

Will be interesting to see what happens.

Question for my indulging friends here.

If a bar was set up and you could buy beer and smoke weed would it be legal

LOL so really if we think about it buying pot is a lot like buying cigarettes or beer in 711  you can buy it there but have to go somewhere else to consume it.

In my opinion (Google)

IMO, let anyone who wants to smoke, vape or eat Marijuana, Weed, Ganja, Pot....whatever you want to call it, anywhere they want to.

I guess we have differing opinions.

Like surgeons in operating theatres? Or airline pilots/bus drivers?

Establishments with a licence are allowed to sell flowers but not allow smoking on the premises.

This is a measure seen as trying to rein in the surge in overt recreational use seen since decriminalization in June.

So you can buy the flowers legally, take them home and smoke them?

The law is an ass.

But everyone is allowed to have and voice their own opinion... as you seem to have yours.

Do you mean "make" some money?

If not what does "MAJE" mean?  Google is no help, too many answers!

Aren't they making money hand over fist with the nitro? That seemed to be very popular last time I was there.

But not whilst working, same as booze.

But then that is introducing rules and controls which rather flies in the face of the anyone, any time, anywhere philosophy.  With rights and freedoms come responsibilities.
