Thai police have arrested a 51 year old Russian man wanted in his own country for allegedly hiring a hitman to carry out a murder. The Russian embassy is also seeking the extradition of Mr Igor Guzhin in connection with another charge in 2019, the man is currently being detained by Thai immigration. One man has been detained by Police and another is sought following a bomb explosion which derailed a freight train in Songkhla on Saturday. CCTV is being examined to try and find out how the bomb was planted, it’s believed the explosion is connected with insurgents in the far south. Chinese authorities have requested the extradition of a Malaysian businessman who allegedly operated an online gambling center in Songkhla.
