A well known Thai celebrity driving an expensive Alphard van was involved in an eight vehicle collision on Saturday night just after midnight.

Luckily no one was injured.

It happened outside a khao tom shop on third road in Nong Prue called Khao Tom Torung.

The owner there said he saw the van arriving at speed before hitting many bikes and cars and a van.

Driving was celebrity Kamonwan Suthinpheuk or Elle.

She is the daughter of a famous Samut Prakan politician called Krungsri Wilai.

No alcohol was found in her system by the Muang Pattaya police.

All the requirements of the case are being investigated, reported Siam Rath.

Woman driver.

Just did a Google search with "Kamonwan Suthinpheuk". Google didn't find anything - Name correct? Perhaps if she continues driving like this she might become a real celebrity...

Alcohol not needed to have an accident in this country; just any useless Thai driver will do !

No alcohol??? That sounds suspicious! Wonder what the price tag for such protection is?

Someone who would not have been pleased to hear his daughter tested over the limit for alcohol no doubt.

Indeed. Suspicious because they made a show of announcing it in this case when normally they never do.

There's a special rate for celebrities.

Check her phone......... (or is that not possible in Thailand for reasons no one can understand?).........I'd put all my bitcoins on that being the cause........talking or even worse, texting.

"No alcohol was found in her system by the Muang Pattaya police."

Do police have ability to check for marijuana? Yaba? More than one way to be a reckless driver..

Did she ever take a drivers exam, or just pay the money?
