araiwaja
Anyone has any experience paying with a (crisp, new) $100 bill for the Laos VoA? I'd like my change in USD rather than THB/LAK... Edited December 12, 2022 by araiwaja

Popular Post Almudena
They do give change. I tendered $41 and they give back $5 when I got my passport back at the window. I can't see you having any problem with a crisp $100 bill, However try not to go at the first time of opening, give them chance to build up a float first. 2

ClaySmc
In early November, I crossed over via friendship bridge in Nakhon Phanom with a hundred. They didn't have change in USD but tried to get it which caused a bit of delay. I said I would take anything and after a phone call to the higher ups they finally gave me change in Kip.

Popular Post HungDonger
I went a couple of weeks ago. I paid with a new $US100 bill and received $US60 change. My friend who was a few minutes behind me passed over a not so new $US50 note which was rejected. I then handed my friend $40 (from the change I'd just received) and they rejected that also . When I explained that the $40 was the change they had just given me they reluctantly accepted it. 2
