In these particular situations, have to wonder whose pulling the strings acting as subliminal puppet master.

I think the RTP don't call him Big Joke. I would guess they refer to him as No Joke. From my read of the article, Big Joke is not doing anything wrong; he's doing things too darn right. This is why he gets marginalized on important cases when it seems like he is on the brink of a major revelation.

 

Of course the responsibility to handle this case must be taken up to the top, totally predictable. They have to find a way to clean out the Chinese guys without shooting their own feet. That can not be managed as bottom-up investigatione as need to ensure that exposure of involved senior officials is managed  properly.

 

End result will be that the Chinese lords' power at least substantially decreased if not removed, an Thai replacement lords back in place to run the biz. Money continues to flow, and many 'misunderstandings' and 'no evidence of corruption' found. Few people removed, none on high level. Life goes on, TIT.

 

They will probably learn the lesson not to let Chinese to run the biz, easier to manage the local guys.

 

Chuwit must have a good security team with him because he will have a bullseye on his forehead now. The RTP will give the Chinese Mafia plenty of time to disappear as long as they have been paid enough. 

 

Go around Rachidapisek and Rama 9 and there have always been ample Chinese floating around, even during the Covid era, so these were living here and earning an income somehow because they don't look like retirement age, gangsters paradise.

 

 

Do the RTP not realise that everyone knows why they do stuff like this, corruption in Thailand by the authorities is sadly out of control and so blatant!!!
