Multiple injuries as bus carrying Myanmar pilgrims overturns after puncture in south

Daily News reported that the Muang Ranong police in the far south plus ten rescue vehicles headed for Petchakasem Road KM marker 695 after a song thaew overturned.

 

It was carrying the Buddhist faithful after a visit to the temple of Wat. Rang Chumphon.

 

The song thaew ended up in a roadside ditch after a tire burst five kms from Ranong town.

Most of the victims were female factory workers and some children.

 

Many had banged their heads. In total 38 were injured.

 

They were workers from Suksamran and Kaper districts of Ranong.
