Phra Manee, 54, had been annoying the villagers in Ban Jan of Ban Dung district, Udon Thani. He'd been staggering around for days swigging from the lao khao bottle like it was water. On Tuesday police found him incoherent and he was taken for a swift defrocking. Next day he was back at the temple asking for his robes so he could apparently make money as a fake monk.
