Daily News Thai Caption: He's smiling...

Daily News featured a smiling Chuwit Kamolwisit after his evidence prompted the police inspector general Visanu Prasatthongosot to investigate the actions of the metropolitan police.

The chief was called to present data regarding the investigation into Chinese and police activity in connection with the Jin Ling pub case.

The police have said they would be thorough looking into all aspects of the case.

Video evidence supplied by Chuwit didn't meet the threshold of evidence of gambling though it implicated To Hao, the man already in custody.

The police are sifting through a mountain of evidence when it comes to the visas for favors scandal implicating three immigration officers.

Chuwit told the press that when he was summoned to appear in person he thought it was going to be some Likay style show.

He was glad to see that apart from Visanu all the other police bigwigs were there and on board.

He felt happy with the investigation moving forward and flashing that characteristic smile, said that the cops should be allowed to proceed with their investigation.
