Can't Open News Items in Newsletter

I have been receiving the newsletter for a few years now and have no problems until now with opening a news item in the email. Now I just get a blank page that has about:blank in the address bar that morphs into https://1780m.trk.elasticemail.com/tracking/click?d=2QvNwWRRTgDHYQgr_IEH6wcc1x3L-lzxNOPG-3QIPnkbpa5mhcPS3TPPQGBPkD4SEOFxOwNm-s_nX6kwcdXcOPKEOqvzehyhleuHL38QmZ_4unTwziWizFlOHoLOno1szpzT10S9KOLOLJaYSZcta1btjj8h2-Zw5i3haCoaDlsY2t86BsrtQj6R5dX-qMe94w2 if I leave the blank page open then come back to it a few seconds later from another Tab.

Help please.

Are you experiencing this on a mobile device or desktop?

Or do you have same issue on both devices?

What browser are you using?

Thanks for the reply George. It magically fixed itself overnight for some reason! I am using a desktop and Chrome but it also occurred using Edge. I think it may have been my Nord VPN that was the problem, even though I have been using Nord for years and never had the problem before, I also was not using Nord when the problem was happening as in connected to another country. I believe a setting in Nord may have been the problem as I uninstalled Nord and the problem was solved. Trouble is, I use Nord a lot and want to reinstall it. I really don't understand some of the lingo and settings in Nord though, I just know how to connect to another country and the basic settings.

I reinstalled Nord VPN and, without connecting to another country tried to open an item in the newsletter and it would not open, I then used Nord to connect to another country and the news item would not open. I then turned off Threat Protection in Nord and I was able to open the news item.

It seems my threat protection did not like Asean Now links in the newsletter but would allow me to connect to the Asean Now Forum website and open topics there! Go figure.

I read this and then turned off Threat Protection on Nord VPN and I could then open the news items. The problem only arose after the maintenance done over the New Year by Asean Now!! Something to do with elasticemail is causing the conflict so the question is, how safe is elasticemail??

I now remember seeing elasticemail as part of one of the blank page address's. I don't know what it is though and, yes, how safe is it?

I have looked it up and it states this, Take your email marketing and email delivery to the next level. Grow your business with our powerful multi-product platform. (https://elasticemail.com/)

It appears to be well known etc but for some reason Threat Protection on Nord VPN goes into conflict with it.
